Since the early 1990s, Robert Burnes has been collecting firearms, edged weapons, historical documents, and Americana ephemera. In addition, he has worked with clients world-wide both to acquire items for their own collecting areas of interest and to assist them in disposing of collections, including estate liquidation.
Following his education at the University of Richmond, with double-majors in History and Religion, Robert received his Master’s degree in history and historical theology, Magna Cum Laude from Duke University in Durham, NC. After a career in the healthcare industry, he and his wife of over 25 years, Nancy, have permanently settled in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. That’s when Robert’s avocation became his vocation….
Robert maintains active memberships in both the Kentucky Rifle Association and the Contemporary Longrifle Association.
