We are always willing to discuss accepting your antiques for sale on our website. As part of our consignment program, we will both review your item(s) and work with you to establish both pricing and consignment arrangements.
Appraisal Service
An appraisal service is available through Liberty & Property. There is generally no charge for this service unless it requires travel or the collection is exceptionally large in which case a quote is rendered upon request. When there is a taxable event, L&P works with other collectors and certified appraisers who can complete the necessary IRS forms and that documentation is completed accurately.
Pre – purchase Review
Buying collectibles can be a challenge. I am available to give my opinion on items prior to purchase at an auction at no charge. I will NOT participate in vetting a collectible offered by an individual and I will NOT offer an opinion on an item after a recent purchase or sale has been made.
Buying Collections
I am always interested in buying a collection. I will travel to inspect your collection and make you a written proposal to purchase it, as appropriate. In some cases, I may recommend an alternate method of sale such as auction.
Auction Services
I have an excellent working relationship with several auctions houses around the US and will gladly advise collectors on contracting with an appropriate auction venue.
Terms
Items listed are described in our opinion to the best of our ability as an aid to the buyer. Please call with any questions. Buyer pays applicable shipping and packaging charges. Call if not 100% satisfied. Return your purchase in the same condition as sent to you within fourteen (14) days of your receipt for a full refund of your purchase. Buyer pays return shipping charge. All items are sold as collector’s items with no safety or other guarantee implied. When an FFL transfer is required, it will be so-indicated by a prominent *asterisk* in the description. Federal Firearm Licensed dealers will be coordinated by Liberty & Property, LLC and clients as needed for transfer of modern firearms (defined as having been made or manufactured after 1898).
